Portraits – People, Pets or Porches! – We love our Neighbors, their pets and their porches of hospitality. Find our characters, both furry and two legged. Also, remember that porches can also be a portrait, of the nostalgic life we lead in Elsah. Our porches enable us to enjoy the summer and help us create a beautiful place to live! Please use this Model Release Form for people who are recognizable in your photos.

Changes to 2026 Photo Competition…. Besides the new themes, we are continuing the ability for a photographer to submit as many images as they like. So, $15 covers three images and you may add to that number by submitting an additional $15 for another three, or more. The Creative Youth Award, for those 12-18 years of age, will continue. Look for submission guidelines in mid July, on Escape to Elsah’s website or here.
